Ladies, start your engines.
Day 5 - Something you hope to do in your life.
Coincedently this item is number 5 on my bucket list (yes I have one). Drive a stock car at a touring Nascar track. Meaning it can't be some old track no one goes to anymore. It has to be LVMS, or Bristol, or Daytona and NOT a ride along. I want to drive the car.

Your only hurting yourself
Day 4 - Something you have to forgive someone for.
I've never really been one to hold grudges. So I'm not going to pick one thing because that would be like saying its the worst thing that's ever happened to me. At the same time there are things in my life that I have to re-forgive people for every now and again. Sometimes you'll think you've forgiven someone for a wrong and out of no where you'll start to have feelings of anger all over again. However, I've seen enough in life to know that holding back forgiveness from someone, even if they haven't asked for it, is the worst thing you can do to you. It takes a lot of energy to hate someone and usually the person who has wronged you has long since moved on.

SPEAK UP!
Day 3 - Something you have to forgive yourself for.
So this would be the ugly and embarrassing part I mention earlier. This may sound dumb but I have carried this with me for 13 years. Once on an FFA trip one of my very dear friends, Coca Cola, was berating another girl in front of everyone. She was telling Pepsi what an awful person her father was. I knew better. I knew what a good man he was. He was my bishop and did so much for my family. Obviously no one is perfect but no matter what Coca Cola thought of this man, it was unfair of her to put that burden on his daughters shoulders. Family is a line you just don't cross. I have a mental picture burned into my brain of Pepsi's face while this was happening, how sad she looked. I feel ashamed that I didn't stand up for her or her father and make this ridicule stop. Why is it so difficult to stand up to a friend when they do something you know is not right? Everything inside of me was screaming to say something, anything, even if it was just to change the subject. I didn't, I sat there like a coward. I don't think I'll ever fully forgive myself until I apologize to her and she forgives me.
side note: Obviously the names have been changed because I'm not calling anyone out here, this is about me. Also, it would be ridiculous for anyone to name their kids Coca Cola or Pepsi...seriously don't do it.

On a good day
Day 2 - Something you love about yourself
My hair. I know, I'm vain. But I love the way it looks on a good day. Yeah we all have bad hair days, but sometimes it goes perfect. I love those days. I've always had long hair, except for a few occassions when I've been traumatized by life and for some unknown reason chopped it off. It feels theraputic, like leaving an old life (or ex-husband) behind. I love when my nieces braid it. I love trying new styles. I love the way it protects me when I'm out with the girls and some "don't take no for an answer Adam" won't leave me alone, it's nice to kind of brush it across your shoulder and pretend its a wall and he can no longer see you.

Let's get this party started
No time like the present right.

Day 1 - Something you hate about yourself.
I'm not that creative. I love creative things. I wish I was the type of person who had amazing scrapbooks and homemade cards and lived in a batchorlette pad right out of the Ikea catalog but my house looks more like someone blew up a Dale Earnhardt Jr souvenir trailer. Don't get me wrong, I love my Nascar stuff, but there's always someone who walks in for the first time and has this look like "did a 10 year old boy decorate this or what are we goin for here?".
